Grip-rite 2-1/4 In. 7d X 12.5 Ga Bright Smooth Shank Steel Box Nail (50 Lb.)

The Grip-Rite 7BX is a professional-grade carpentry fastener engineered explicitly for light-duty general construction, framing, framing overlays, crate building, and detailed box making. Unlike traditional common framing fasteners, these specialized 7d (7-penny) box nails feature a lighter 12.5-gauge wire diameter. This thinner, high-tensile shank profile is intentionally designed to easily slice through delicate or brittle wood grains, effectively preventing structural splitting and cracking near board edges without sacrificing dependable holding power.
