Customer Service / Retail Position Available at the Feed Store

Gregg Farm Services is an established farm and feed store with 2 convenient locations to serve our customers. Our customers will rely on you to serve them promptly and cheerfully. With our regular customers, you will eventually learn their names and know what they need before they ask.

Because the Twin Lakes area attracts new residents every year, you will also find yourself giving advice to hobby farmers, gardeners and homeowners that are adjusting to the unique pleasures and challenges of living in Ozarks. Of course, there is plenty to learn before customers can have confidence in your advice, but eventually you will become an “expert” in a variety of areas related to our product lines.

Along the way, you will likely develop new friendships and have the satisfaction of serving our community of established ranchers, backyard gardeners, pet owners, wildlife enthusiasts, and more. No experience is required but any prior experience with hardware, livestock, pets, gardening, etc would be a BIG PLUS.

A friendly, sincere demeanor; decent keyboarding skills; ability to perform addition and multiplication in your head; count back cash/change; capable of carrying 50 lb bags for customers and willing to be on your feet most of the day are requirements for the job. . We offer on the job training.

We want a self-starter who will put the customer first; perform job assignments without being constantly supervised and have the flexibility to carry out a variety of tasks throughout the day (including basic janitorial work, answering the phone, stocking inventory).

We offer paid holidays, paid vacation (for full-time), 40 hours PTO after 90 days (for full-time) and Sundays off. Our hours are 7:30 am – 5:30 pm; and 7:30 am-2 pm Saturdays. We have split shifts 7:30am-4:00pm & 9:00am-5:30pm. Position currently open is for the 9:00am-5:30pm full time shift. Must be willing to work Saturdays and occasional special events. Pay starts at $13.00/hr.
