Description
Decorative tamper resistant grounded duplex receptacle meets the 2008 NEC requirement. Shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a 2-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure hair pins, keys, and other small items, will be locked out. Quick wire push-in or side wired terminals. Heavy-duty construction offers long, trouble-free service life. 15 amps/125 volts. NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturer's Association) 5-15R.
